It’s true that every great idea was once a tiny spark. This is the gift that we sometimes unwittingly give each other.

Inspirational ideas that seem like very little to us may light a fire in someone else.

That’s why over the coming months We’d like to share a few bright sparks sifted from a number of different areas including our learnings from being a Scaling Up coach; and from working with many businesses over the last 30 years to help them manage their growth and people and also from our many select guests on the Sparks by Ignium podcast. In each episode, we’ve found that these moments of inspiration often pop up unexpectedly in conversation and sharing them with you feels like the right thing to do*.

For our first month, we’ll be sharing (world champion!) coldwater swimmer and coach Deniz Kayadelen’s insider info on the joy of widening your comfort zone and maximising your potential. All in inspirational little snapshots that you can carry with you throughout the day and mull over when you have a moment.

As always, we’d welcome feedback on our content, so do drop us a line or comment below on what you find helpful and what you’d like to see more of. Also, don’t miss Phil’s interview with Deniz in the Sparktank and find out what happens when we allow discomfort to become our teacher. Why not follow the link to the comment section below and listen in today?

*We’ve also really enjoyed re-visiting our conversations – there is so much to learn from listening again!
